Continuity in lab gas supply for NutriControl

NutriControl is a laboratory where reliability and continuity are essential. More than 10 years ago, Avilo became involved due to problems with the existing compressed air supply and the air quality. This was not suitable for use in a laboratory.

Avilo carried out a technical advisory process and subsequently delivered a completely new installation that met the required quality standards. This structurally improved the compressed air supply and ensured a future-proof setup. In the years that followed, the installation at the former location was further expanded to keep up with the growing demand.

Fully equipped air and nitrogen supply

When moving to the new location in Veghel, the laboratory was completely redesigned. This included a completely new air and lab gas supply system.

Avilo supplied two compressors, filtration, compressed air drying, two nitrogen generators and provisions for hydrogen and zero air. With two compressors and two nitrogen generators, continuity is secured. This means that maintenance activities or a potential malfunction do not affect operations. The gas supply remains continuously available.

For LCMS applications, constant pressure and stable nitrogen quality are required. The installation is therefore designed to guarantee a reliable and continuous supply, fully aligned with the requirements of the laboratory process.

Independent nitrogen supply

By producing nitrogen on site, NutriControl has full control over the availability and quality of nitrogen. They are not dependent on external deliveries or market prices and only produce what the process requires at that moment.

During the relocation, both locations were in use simultaneously. At the customer's request, Avilo ensured that nitrogen and compressed air were available at both the old and the new location. As a result, the three-month transition period took place without any interruption to the laboratory processes.
