The Parker KA-MT 1-8 adsorption dryers incl. activated carbon column dry compressed air to a dew point of -40°C or even -70°C. In addition, the activated carbon adsorber removes any oil vapour from the air. This makes the air immediately suitable for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries. With a flow rate of up to 62,000 litres per minute, these compact units are suitable for applications with low consumption.
Parker heatless regenerative dryers are based on PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorption – technology and therefore do not have the heat related complications of their heated counterparts. In addition, they do not require cooling air, which makes them more energy efficient.
Optional pressure dew point control is available. A highly accurate and stable pressure dew point sensor measures the moisture content in the compressed air. If the air is within a good value range, it is not dried any further. This can save a significant amount of compressed air, and therefore energy.
Depending on the selected dew point, the Parker domnick hunter KA-MT 1-8 Series can achieve a compressed air quality of Class 2.1.1 according to ISO8573-1.
