How does a nitrogen membrane generator work and where is used for? View our new animated video and find out!

Parker Hollow Fibre Membrane Technology uses bundles of hollow fibres which are kept in place by a tubular housing.
A compressed air source is connected to the end of the tube. Compressed air is forced through the fibres, diffusing oxygen and other waste gases through the thin wall of each fibre into the atmosphere. This waste gas exits the membrane module on the side as “Permeate”.
The retained nitrogen flows through the center of the fibres to the application. Nitrogen membranes can be used in a wide variety of applications.
Avilo builds nitrogen systems based on this technology for almost every application. From small stand-alone nitrogen generators with build-in compressor to large industrial nitrogen installations.
